Graduation

Class of 2026

Graduation is Thursday, May 21, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in Hawk Stadium.

Tickets are not required and there are no limits to guests at this time. Graduates will report to school no later than 6:00 p.m. Gates will open at 5:00 p.m. for guests.  All general seating is first come, first served.

The Auditorium will be open and air-conditioned for our heat-sensitive guests with the Commencement Ceremony being live-streamed.

Dress Code:

  • Gown, Hood, Cap & Tassel (Required)
  • Caps and gowns may NOT be altered in any manner.
  • Gentlemen – Shirts, slacks, socks, and dress shoes are required. No jeans or shorts are permitted.
  • Ladies – Dress or blouse and slacks, and dress shoes required. No jeans or shorts are permitted.
  • Students dressed inappropriately will not be permitted to participate in the ceremony.

Important Dates:

Senior portraits - Lou Coopey Senior portraits MUST be taken by Lou Coopey to be featured in the yearbook.  Student ID photos taken at the beginning of the year will not work.

September 21st - Dual Enrollment registration and payment deadline.

September 25th - Last day to withdraw from a class without W/F

October 16th & 17th - Club Photo Days

October 23 - FAFSA/Scholarship Night in the Commons.  Register here.

October 27th - Senior on-campus Photo Day 7:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. (Yearbook photo only - for students who did not get a picture done in the studio)

October 28th - Senior on-campus Photo Day 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. (Yearbook photo only - for students who did not get a picture done in the studio)

December 10th - Deadline for Jostens Graduation orders (for our school delivery day.  You can still order online, but it may not arrive in April)

January 12th - 16th - Senior Credit Checks - Career Center (Counseling)

January 28th - Senior Panoramic Photo - Main Gym - RST Schedule

April 9th - Jostens Cap & Gown Delivery - Bookstore - 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Orders will remain in the Bookstore after this date until picked up.

April 25th - PROM - 8:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. Location TBA

May 4th - 15th - AP Testing

May 15th - 19th - Senior Final Exams

May 17th - Baccalaureate Ceremony - Auditorium - 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.

May 19th - Last day of classes for Seniors.  Please make sure ALL Chromebooks, textbooks, and novels are returned and any fees are paid.

May 21st - Mandatory Graduation Rehearsal - Gym - 6:45 a.m.

May 21st - Graduation Ceremony - Hawk Stadium - 7:00 p.m.

May 26th - If you choose not to participate in the Graduation ceremony, diplomas will be available for pick-up after 9:00 a.m. in the front office as long as you have met all of the graduation requirements and returned your Chromebook and charger.

Baccaluareate

Baccalaureate is a tradition that stems from England in the mid-1400s, where graduates from the prestigious Oxford University gathered to reflect upon their educational journey. While it was originally a religious ceremony, in the United States it has evolved into a non-denominational service where graduates are able to reflect upon their thirteen-year journey in one of their last moments together as a class.

Graduation day itself is a very full day, full of emotions and events, and attended by thousands of family and friends. Because graduation is often a whirlwind which is over before we even realize it has begun, baccalaureate becomes a time where students can more solemnly experience what it means to be a graduate in an uplifting and personalized ceremony. It is truly a moment in their lives that cannot be recreated, and all graduates and their families are encouraged to attend. During this event, the HHS Choir and Orchestra will perform.

Baccalaureate will be Sunday, May 17th at 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Baccalaureate tickets will be available for reservations in early April, 2026 for both sessions.  Both sessions are identical.  Please check back for a link.

Graduation Photos

GradImages is the official photographer for our graduation.  Each graduate will be photographed as she/he receives their diploma cover. Proofs of those pictures will be available for viewing at www.gradimages.com.  You may be eligible for a discount on your future purchase if you go to the website and pre-register your student's information.
