Congratulations to Highland High’s Boys and Girls Track and Field for being honored with a Superintendent Recognition at the May 2025 GPS Board meeting.
Gilbert Public Schools was awarded the 2025 Best Communities for Music Education in the nation by the NAMM Foundation for the 6th consecutive year, recognizing and celebrating the outstanding efforts by teachers, administrators, parents, students, and community leaders who have made music education a part of a well-rounded education.
HHS is proud to celebrate our 818 graduating seniors. 65% of students are college/university-bound and 1.4% are enlisting in the military. 192 have a GPA of 4.0 or higher and 6 are Student Council officers.
Highland High hosted its Senior Recognition Night on May 1st to recognize 90 seniors for their exceptional accomplishments while at HHS. The invitation-only event is held each year to honor Highland’s brightest scholars and students who persevere through and grow from the challenges faced in high school.
Gilbert Public Schools honored employees across its 39 schools and departments to show appreciation for the positive difference GPS staff make every day for our students, families, and each other.
May 6th was the 3rd annual GPS Film Fest. 51 student videos were submitted and viewed, with participants from all 5 of GPS’s comprehensive high schools, and almost 2 hours worth of video content.
