Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Highland High School’s Lab Biology program.  This course is designed to provide an introduction to the biological sciences by investigating the living world.  Students will be asked to understand and apply the principles of scientific endeavor through reading, writing and discussion, as well as hands-on activities in the lab. This class requires students to work hard and think harder.  The rigors set forth by this curriculum require a significant amount of time, effort, responsibility, and maintenance of an exceptional work ethic. I am here to guide you along the way, and I am excited for all of us to learn together this year!

About Me

As a student I attended Gilbert Public Schools and graduated from Desert Ridge High School. Right after graduating high school I went to Arizona State University and got my bachelors degree in Secondary Education Biology and a certificate in environmental education. I love teaching even more than I could have ever imagined and I am excited to share this year with a wonderful group of students.
