Course Information

Welcome to Highland High School

This is an exciting time for students to begin thinking about high school and to determine the classes to be taken during the 9th grade year of high school.  Highland High School provides several opportunities for students to learn about and explore their course selection options.  We encourage all parents and students to attend our Freshman preview night on February 5th at 7:00pm in the auditorium.  During this event, there is a general session in the auditorium where students and parents hear a brief presentation by the counselors regarding the course selection process.  The second half of the event allows students and parents to meet and ask questions of teachers regarding their classes, as well as to obtain information about a variety of clubs and activities on our campus.

This event is followed by the Highland High School counseling team going to our junior high schools to present information to each of our 8th grade English classes about the registration process.  That same week, counselors return to follow up with any questions students and parents may have.

Below are links to different documents and information that you may find useful in your course selection process.  Also, please take time to view the course advertisements located in a link on the left side of this page.
