Homecoming Carnival

Attention Hawks! Join us this Wednesday at the Homecoming Carnival!! The party goes from 6-9:00 p.m. on the Basketball Courts! There will be food trucks, snow-cones, music, carnival games and the presentation of the underclassmen Homecoming Court.  One Image and Pom and Cheer will also be performing live! Bring $8 cash to buy your wristband for the carnival. The wristband includes EVERYTHING but the food trucks for only $8 dollars. That’s like a Box Combo at Cane’s people!!! See you Wednesday at the Homecoming Carnival!!!

Guest Passes for Homecoming Dance

Students, if you plan to bring a guest who is not a Highland student, you must submit a Guest Pass Application form. Forms are available at the reception desk in the Administration Office. The last day to submit an application will be Wednesday, September 19th . Passes for approved guests can be picked up from Ms. LaTurner in the office on Thursday, September 20th and Friday, September 21 st . Guests without a pass will not be admitted to the dance.

Homecoming Tickets

Homecoming tickets are now on sale and can be purchased at the Spirit Store until the end of 5th period or at the Bookstore after school.  Tickets purchased on Sept. 10th – Sept. 14th are $35.  Tickets purchased on Sept. 17th – Sept. 21st are $40.  Tickets will not be sold at the door.

Link Crew Tutoring

Link Crew Tutoring in the library (Highland Commons) TODAY, during 4th and 5th period lunch!  All freshmen are welcome!

Attention Seniors

If you missed the senior meeting on 9/5 with Jostens, or if you did not pick up a packet after the meeting, please visit the bookstore to pick up your Jostens Graduation Order Packet as soon as possible.  Cap and Gown orders must be placed by December 7, 2018.

Attention Junior and Senior Drivers

If you have a parking pass for the student lot, this message is for you!  When you park in the student lot, you will notice there are several spaces that are painted.  During school hours, from 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. those painted spots are reserved for specific students.  You cannot park in these spaces.  The reserved spots are only for seniors who won a lottery and paid extra for the spot itself.  They have a special parking pass as well that is different from the standard one.  DO NOT park in those spots or you will be stickered and asked to move by security.  Thanks for your cooperation.

Japan Club

The Japan club is meeting on Friday at 2:40 p.m. in portable 6B.

 “Scholarships 101” Presentation

September 20th there will be a presentation for parents and students called “Scholarships 101” by Mr. Weiss.  Information will also be given on completing the FAFSA.  This presentation will be held in the Career Center in the Highland Commons from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Any girls interested in softball, open field will be on Wednesdays from 6-8:00 p.m. on the Varsity field.  If you have any questions see Coach Morrison in Room #1181.

ID Corrections

ID Corrections can now be made at the bookstore. If you need your ID corrected,please come to the bookstore. Bookstore hours are from 7-3 and closed during 6 th hour.

Early Release Students

All Early Release Students must have their ID (Blue Schedule) ready to show security when they leave the campus.

Hawk Family

If you have lost something on campus, check the Lost and Found table in the Bookstore Lobby.  The table is full of clothes, shoes, water bottles and other items.
