I graduated from a unique dual degree program with Tufts University and The Museum School of Fine Arts in Boston, Massachusetts. I am a painter and specialize in portrait painting and murals. I started my teaching career in West Newbury, MA but I have been teaching Art for 18 years at Highland High school. I am very proud of the murals that I teach my students to do as they get into the upper levels of our visual arts program. If you visit our campus you can't miss them. We have 4 years of visual arts for your avid art student! I take my students on field trips to the Phoenix Art Museum, Mesa and Chandler centers for arts and to various arts festivals. This year AP had a watercolor class at Mesa Center for the Arts and a tour of their current show "Off the page" art works inspired by literature. This helped kick off their concentration thematic work.
